Hermit Posted November 6, 2011 ID:492135 Share Posted November 6, 2011 Hey!I have just started using Malwarebytes which seemed to catch a lot of junk. I love it!First thing that happened was a window popped up and said your computer is malfunctioning and I need to purchase their software to fix it. It had disabled most everything so I couldn't do much. Then it seemed to keep messing things up more and more. All programs and files were missing, and all restore points. Well I have seemed to move past that for the most part now Im stuck with some strange things I cannot fix. I would love some help! Thanks in advance.I keep getting a message from Interactive Services Detection, that "the program might need information from you or your permission to complete a task". I can view now or later, the view now optiongmail. goes to CMD and displays a bunch of ping reply's. Meanwhile I have a process PING.EXE using 100% of my CPU and I cannot turn windows firewall on. And cannot connect to homegroup, and my start menu is blank. Actually every thing was missing but I used unhide.exe, but it didn't catch the start menu.For a while the computer just kept shutting down on me, and its had repair the start-up many many times.Things I have tried:Eset online scannerKasperky scannerSpybot search and distroyIobit malwareSUPERantispywareNorton scannerTDSSKILLERAdvance system care.Im bout to give up! Next, please visit this webpage for instructions for running ComboFix: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.Please post the contents of C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new DDS log so we may continue cleaning the system.
