Malwarebytes scan unresponsive.

When I run a scan with Malwarebytes, it starts becoming unresponsive and takes long. I may have loads of things on my PC but it takes three hours to finish, and once my cursor stopped responding and I had to run error recovery after force shut down. Is this because of the real time file system protection of ESET NOD32 5 or is it an error/bug in my PC? I have a key for Malwarebytes pro but I don't want to mess up my PC so bad that I cant disable it, so will Malwarebytes Pro run with ESET NOD32 or should I prevent using the key?

We have folks here on the forum that use the combination you are talking about. You should be fine, but to prevent conflicts between both of them you should setup exclusions to both.

To add exclusions to Est Anti-Virus

This Item<--- was sent from a moderator at the Est A/V forum to show how to add the exclusions required -

Please exclude the following files from your Antivirus Software:

Note: Once that's done, please make sure that if either of those programs has any sort of web filter, that you add the following as a trusted site:
