MBAM Pro causing Panda Global Protection 2012 to freeze when enabling AV Module

Have you set exclusions so MBAM will ignore Panda?

Please Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here to completely remove MBAM from your system.

Please perform a restart on your system, do not reinstall MBAM at this time. Run a couple of applications ensure the freeze does not occur. Then restart, attempt at encountering the freeze again.

Then run DDS again and attach the logs in your next reply.

Hi,

I ran mbam-clean.exe and it removed MBAM completely from my system. I tried to reproduce the freeze in Panda, but I was unable to. Panda is now functioning normally. I have attached the DDS logs. Also, I have added Panda to the ignore list, and MBAM to the threats to exclude list and made sure the firewall was setup correctly for it in Panda, but I still get the freeze.

Please temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here

Do not register MBAM just yet. Please add Panda Security's program files folder to MBAM's ignore list.

Then please zip up and attach the ignore.dat file from

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Please attach that .zip file into your next reply.

Hi,

I did what you said and reinstalled MBAM and declined the trial and have not activated it. I have also attached the ignore.dat file in a zip folder.

Ignore looks perfect.

Let's get one more DDS log there is some errors from the last one that are troubling if the freeze isn't occurring while MBAM and services are still failing.

Please run the following DDS scan and post back both logs.

• Download DDS and save it to your desktop from

here or here or here
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

• When done, DDS will open two (2) logs
  • DDS.txt
    
    
  • Attach.txt

Yes, I have added MBAM to the exclude list as I read in the FAQ thread.
