Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro (paid) details--subscription model?

I'd like to buy the pro version (paid version) since the freeware version of this product was useful on my Windows 7 system in detecting and removing a fake scareware trojan that Microsoft Security Essentials missed or allowed to be installed (it was a drive by installation as I did not click on any buttons)

My question is whether the pro version is a subscription model, meaning I have to pay every year, like most anti-virus programs are, and, even more importantly, where there is "automatic renewal" of your subscription, which I've found with certain companies is difficult to cancel.

Any help appreciated.

Home/Consumer users pay a one time fee. There is no renewal for Consumers. Business, Government, Non-Profit, Educational pay a yearly renewable fee.
