Hello,

Recently I got infected with Tidserv Activity 2 and Trojan.Gen. I ran a scan through Norton Security Suite 5 which detected the problem, but wasn't able to remove it. I got a popup telling me "threat requiring manual removal detected: System Infected: Tidserv Activity 2." However, after following their removal steps I can't get it off my machine. The steps didn't even detect a problem! However every 15mins or so, the popup persists. I also tried TDSSKiller with no avail.

Problem 2:

I get an occasional popup telling me that Trojan.Gen.2 is trying to get access and that Norton was able to block it.

At the same moment, Malwarebytes also gives me a popup, tell me that it was able to block access to a potentially malicious website. Here is what one of the entries looks like:

14:06:24 Adminish IP-BLOCK 109.236.81.172 (Type: outgoing, Port: 50417, Process: svchost.exe)

These problems all started when I was getting a very high ping last week. That's what alerted me to the problem, so I installed Norton and Malwarebyes. I have run full scans and safe mode scans which do not detect and correct the problem. I have fixed my registry, cleared my recent files. I also installed the newest version of Java (and clearly its history), newest flash, newest Adobe reader, newest IE and firefox and disabled my extensions.

I'm out of ideas. Help please!!!!
