Infected PC, malwarebytes keeps disappearing

Recommended Posts

Well I know a LITTLE about this stuff, but obviously not enough this time.

Pretty sure I have a trojan virus, which is disabling malwarebytes, avast, and multiple other programs I've tried.

I click malwarebytes, and get the message:

Windows cannot access the specifed device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them.

I've tried running it in safe mode, same error.

I've tried renaming the .exe file, won't let me rename.

I uninstalled avast and went to safe mode, reinstalled, it worked, but it was acting weird, right when it was about done scanning [found like 4 infected]it went away, off the face of the earth.

Tried to open it up again, the error came back. Went back to normal mode, same thing.

Looked it up, found on some site to download "inherit", and tried it, it worked for a while, then it went back to disappearing after being open for a few seconds.

So pretty much that's where I'm at.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense or is confusing, I've been working on this ALL day, and frazzling my brain over it, so my brain has died.

I'd appreciate help, I'm super sick of this stupid virus!

Your system is infected with a nasty RooTkit.

Please don't attach the scan results, use Copy/Paste

Logs will be closed if you haven't replied within 3 days

DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Vista and Windows 7 users:

1. These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them

2. With Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")
