JeffreyC Posted September 22, 2011 ID:478386 Share Posted September 22, 2011 I'm running a PC with Vista. I noticed that something was wrong when I was unable to open Google Chrome. Now I'm being redirected to Google even when using FireFox or Explorer. I tried running MBAM, but get an error message and it won't run. Microsoft Essentials won't run either. I've tried renaming the file (won't work). I've tried TDSSkiller (won't run), I've tried Inherit.exe, which lets me start MBAM, but it stops scanning after 2-3 seconds. I've also tried running these things in Safemode, but nothing works. I'm really not sure where to go from here. Hopefully someone can help me out. Staff screen317 Posted September 28, 2011 Staff ID:480102 Share Posted September 28, 2011 Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.Download OTL.exe by OldTimer to your Desktop.Close all windows and double click OTL.exe.Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted.It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt.
