Rundll32 Open File - Secuity warning message possible infected file

Hello, I have a problem regarding rundll32.exe

I’m using Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

Whenever I log on I receive an Open File – Security warning message trying to access rundll32.exe from the file path: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\rundll32.exe with an unknown publisher. I have checked the temp folder (with show hidden folders) and I’m unable to find rundll32.exe. I also have checked the Startup folder from the start menu and it’s empty.

From task manager I can see two instances of rundll32.exe

If I click yes to the message the following occurs: An application called Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware requests execution from the file path: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\mbam.exe. Selecting yes results in an error message: "MBAM_ERROR_ENUMERATE_LANGUAGES(3,0) the system cannot find the path specified". This error message is immediately followed by another application request prompt from Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, only this time the file path is different: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp.... Selecting yes again results in the same error message "MBAM_ERROR_ENUMERATE_LANGUAGES(3,0) the system cannot find the path specified", however after this there are no more prompts.

Navigating to (C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming) shows two new files:

Chrtmp 0 kb
mbam.exe 1,066 kb

Navigating to (C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp) shows:

%temp%.exe 1,066 kb and has a description Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

Navigating to (C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup) shows a new file called rundll32.exe with a pink folder icon.

I can remove these files without any issues and my system’s stability is normal, however the Open File – Security warning message appears persistently when logging into windows. I ran a full system scan with McAfee but everything reported normal. I scanned the newly created files using online file scanners such as www.virustotal.com/ with also reported nothing. Any assistance in this matter?

Thank you sincerely you for help.
