My new hp Pavilion g7 1167dx Notebook has been the victim of a hostile takeover by some win32 viruses, 2 I managed to get out today. At first my computer was behaving much better, but now it's starting the same unresponsiveness, freeze ups and "cannot display webpage" stuff. I have a HijackThis log (attached) and I see a lot of files that are missing. I'm not sure if that means anything or not.

I have Windows 7 64bit, high speed Internet cable, new modem, the latest Internet Explorer, Kaspersky Anti-Virus (I found a virus in this), I scanned it with Spybot, Malwarebytes, and Microsoft Safety Scanner.

I bought System Mechanic and it got even worse so I managed to turn the computer back to an earlier date and now it at least works to some degree again.

I also noticed that lately it doesn't want to shut down easily because of "background programs" that do not want to close. I close everything I have open before trying to shutdown.

HijackThis and it says "For some reason your system denied write access to the hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, Hijackthis may NOT be able to fix this."

Logs will be closed if you haven't replied within 3 days

Please don't attach the scans / logs for these tools, use "copy/paste".

That's normal when you have Vista or Windows 7.

DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Please run a new MBAM scan being sure to update before scanning.

Post the scan results

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
