(2,2,CreateSDK) into Error 1072

Recommended Posts

Yeah. well, I had problems, and now I can't get the program to run. I am feeling a bit exposed. When I tried to update I got the following:

PROGRAM_LOAD_ERROR_DATABASE ( 2, 2,CreateSDK)

The system cannot find the file specified.

I figured, OK. Wait a minute, maybe it is still booting. Tried again, same error.

I shut down malwarebytes, and killed the service. Tried to restart. Now it won't even start - just gives me the same error.

Anyone have any ideas?

OK. did a un-install, and downloaded a new version. installed it. opened up fine, shows up as a registered version (ie, no Register/Buybutton). Protection was turned off. Tried to enable it and got:

[CreateService] Failed to perform desired action. Error Code: 1072

So, now I have it installed, it seems to run, but I can't get my real-time protection turned on.

Getting annoyed.....

Created for User.

Thank you. I obviously missed that step.

Sigh - it has not been a great day.

You may disregard this thread. After rebooting (because, hey, maybe I will get the mbamservice to start), it works perfectly, as designed. I apologize for transmitting broken and stupid.......

Hello Kmiles,

I was in the middle of requesting a log and asking for a reboot. You beat me to it.

If any issues arise in the future with MBAM please create a topic within the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask and a friendly forum helper will assist you.

Thank you.
