Computer Freezes at startup

Recommended Posts

I am not a computer savvy person. So the fix is hopefully something that I can easily do. I notices some other forums with similar issues, and it appeared to be a complex process. Bottom line, I have a Windows 7 64 bit system. I installed Malwarebytes Pro and rebooted. The computer froze at startup and I could not do anything (clt-alt-delete) at that point. I did a hard reboot and selected start in save mode command. It went to a screen then nothing. I did another hard reboot and then it started up normally. This time it did not freeze at start up. I am not afraid to reboot, fearing the process will repeat. Please advise.

Thank you.

David
