Recurring broken.opencommand

Every time I startup my computer, broken.opencommand reappears. If I don't run a MBAM scan to remove it before I shut down, when I startup again my browsers are blocked from accessing Google websites, including search and Gmail. Also, today I couldn't access Malwarebytes forums using Chrome, so I switched to Internet Explorer. I don't know whether these browser problems are due to the broken./opencommand or some other cause.

I've run the recommended series of scans (Defogger, DDS, and GMER), and am attaching the output files as requested. The contents of the DDS.txt follows:

Thanks for responding. I updated MBAM and ran another quick scan, as instructed. The log file is attached. Meanwhile I'll download ComboFix and run DDS again, and post the results when I have them.

Running ComboFix must have fixed whatever was causing Broken.OpenCommand to keep recurring. I've run Malwarebytes quick scans twice since running ComboFix, and both times it reported finding no problems. I've attached the log file from the latest run. It appears that that problem, at least is resolved. Many thanks!

I still seem to be having intermittent problems accessing www.Google.com, so there may be some other problem on either their end, my end, or in transmission somewhere (via Verizon DSL).

Good that one issue has stopped. Likely that the connection issue has to do with your modem, router, or ISP. I suggest contacting them to do a line test.
