Malwarebytes will not run

Beaux

Recommended Posts

I may have a new type of malicious software that will not let Malwarebytes run. I have tried everything I can find both in the malwarebytes forums and the web.

Will not run in Safe mode.

Tried renaming mbam.exe.

Uninstalled and re downloaded the installer with it renamed winlogin. It did install but would not run.

Tried uninstalling and re naming in every way you can think of.

Tried RootRepeal and the instructions given in the malwarebytes forums.

Tried Tdsskiller and it found nothing.

I have no TDSSserv.sys in the non plug and play

I know there is something attached to this computer that is stopping Malwarebytes from running. Please advise me of what I should try next.

Thank you,

Support ticket #179194

Neither the dds.scr or dds.com worked on this computer. I waited at least 15 min on both and all it would do is blink. It also almost locked up the computer. It would not close and the computer would not shut down normally. I had to hold in on the power button to get it to shut down.

Attached is a comprehensive report from Auslogics Boost Speed. Oh, and this was not running while I was trying the dds.
