redirect virus has computer inoperable

I have been trying for a solid week to help my parents remove a redirect virus from their desktop. It redirects searches on all browsers and search engines. Initially it had hid all the files folders and programs on their desktop, leaving only a black screen. It also deleted their Malwarebytes and Ccleaner programs. I was able to get to McAfee to run a scan while in safe mode. It picked up a few Trojans, but no fix. In safe mode I was able to reinstall Malwarebytes and Ccleaner. I ran these and Malwarebytes pulled a few issues and Ccleaner found and fixed several registry errors. Still though, no fix. I have been able to restore most of the hidden files and folders, but cannot get rid of this redirect virus. The restore points are not available either. Later I uninstalled McAfee and installed AVG, ran a scan and got several more viruses removed. Again, deleted AVG and ran a different virus removal software that pulled 6 more issues, not including about 700 cookies. Last resort was Combofix which I have only used once before (it worked wonders) but even it hasn't removed it yet. I can't understand the log completely and would LOVE any assistance that y'all would be willing to provide.

I really appreciate you're time. It's one thing that's often overlooked!

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

ComboFix is very dangerous to run on your own.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
