I didnt realize my anti virus subscription had expired. I have Malwarebytes installed but wasnt actively monitoring. My PC crashed and continuously reboots when trying to bring up Windows. I go into safe mode and try to run Malwarebytes and Stinger. They run for about ten seconds then crash. When I try the link it says it cant find the app. I tried to rung them from a CD and they crash as well.

I found Defender Security on the PC. I also found a process 810537052:2377811663.exe running, which can't be stopped. The I found 810537052 in c:\Windows and can delete it, but it comes back after a reboot.

Any ideas?

Hey Curly,

Having the same issue, but I am now only able to boot in Safe mode. I am considering purchasing an IDE to USB cable. Taking the hard drive out of my PC and connecting to my laptop which is highly secure. Then run MalwareBytes on the drive. Let you know if this works.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

  • Download the file TDSSKiller.zip and extract it into a folder on the infected PC.
  • Execute the file TDSSKiller.exe by double-clicking on it.
  • Wait for the scan and disinfection process to be over.
  • When its work is over, the utility prompts for a reboot to complete the disinfection.

By default, the utility outputs runtime log into the system disk root directory (the disk where the operating system is installed, C:\ as a rule).

The log is like UtilityName.Version_Date_Time_log.txt.

for example, C:\TDSSKiller.2.2.0_20.12.2009_15.31.43_log.txt.

Please post that log here.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
