Clean win 7 install, BAM :(

I havent used these forums much, running combofix and 3094820938 other things had always tended to get rid of viruses. Well my XP install was smashed with the pop up redirect (liked taking me to something like the-consumer-reports.com or net i forget. (Obviously though not the old consumer reports virus)

Well I install win 7 and its time for me to start redownloading all my programs and games (new hdd, new build), I get java as its needed for minecraft it installs 6.27 not 7 and I pay no attention until I get a nice guy in the background telling me about what I should buy etc. Damnit. DAMNIT. I scream like a banshee, as on my xp build I was unable to remove even though it would be found by mbam and combofix upon report it was always back.. (i am using ie9 now, xp was running firefox and it loved to redirect google searches)

I just installed java 7 and uninstalled the prev version. However does something linger? and what is this adware/trojan etc called since it seems to love me. What future precautions can I take? Why is java doodie? etc.. here is my hijack this log (had an error about not being able to write to some host file (.txt had some info about tcp/ip and an example domain of acme something ruther)

To make things easier, all I have done at this point is installed minecraft/ steam with games/mbam/teamspeak 3 THATS IT. (Oh and nvidia drivers/adobe flash)

That is normal when you're running Visat / Win7

DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Vista and Windows 7 users:

1. These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them

2. With Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")

• To run the tool, double-click it (XP), or right-click and select Run As Administrator (Vista).
  
• When prompted to run the scan, click Yes.
