Exclude files in MBAM

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys :)

Ive been downloading some trainers lately, and mbam keeps say that its a virus when i scan.

But i know it isnt, so can i somehow make Mbam "forget" about these files?

Also got a full protected computer with license - and here the pop ups keep coming - can i somehow disable these? :o

Cheers

Hello and welcome, kaptinevil:

Please read this article about False Positives.

After doing so, if you think these MBAM detections are false positives, then please start a new thread here.

If a program you use is being detected as a threat by the protection module, you can use the Add button on the Ignore List tab to have Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware ignore that application.

Note: Unless you are absolutely sure the program is safe, it would probably be better to submit the file for analysis to the MBAM engineers in the False Positive forum first, before adding it to the Ignore List.

HTH,
