I found this website because i posted this topic http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=83377.0

I wan't to be 100% Secured on my laptop. I want some good Anti-Virus and some good free protection :D

What i have now is:

Avast Free version

MalWareBytes

CCleaner

I want to be protected against spy software like keyloggers or RAT (Remote admistration tools)

'Keylogger can capture a screenshot whenever they want, and can capture every key you type. and with a RAT (Remote Administation Tool) They can have acces to everything on your computer, they can control it like opening your cam without knowing or like that.

So i want to be protected against those things.. '

First of all i will format my laptop than installing all the antivirus software to clean my laptop at the same time.

So thanks for reading and what do u advise me to do? :P:D;):):rolleyes:

EDIT: Do u recomment me to download http://www.filehippo.com/download_zonealarm_free/?

Well a format is typically not needed and a bit extreme and difficult for most. Normally you need to delete your partitions as well and format and then install to really be clean.

For now please try the following and see if it helps you to obtain the 14 day trial or not. Are you sure you or someone else did not try the trial on this computer already?

Please do the following:

  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here
  • It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important
  • After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
    • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version
    • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.

Instalate the program again.

Updated it to version 7529 (22-8-2011)

But i don't see the 14 days trial?

It will protect you from known droppers and infections that try to enable these in general. As for key loggers we do not detect Commercial key loggers as they do serve a purpose but we do detect general or bogus key loggers. This is when using the Pro version, the free version does not actively prevent any infection and is for scanning and clean up after the fact.

All of these are not a replacement though for Anti-Virus - you still need to have an up to date Anti-Virus running on your system at all times.

As for the trial the system thinks that it has been offered before so it does not allow it again on purpose. You can probably install it on another computer or a friends computer and setup the Trial to check it out.

Thanks for the information but i never used the trial before, Is there a way to get it? 'by another computers' is not a option for me :(

If you don't see the Start Trial button then either you're using an older version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and you need to install the latest version that includes the trial, or you're using the PRO version already which actually has all of the features of the free trial without the limitation of only being able to use it for 14 days.

Yep, you're already running the trial. My guess is that when you received the very first pop up prompt to use the trial after running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.51.1 for the first time, you clicked on the button to start the trial.

You can tell that the protection module is enabled because of this (notice the area circled in red:
