False Positive.

Recommended Posts

I submitted a file to the guys at AVG that was reporting a Trojan. And they marked it as a false positive and are updating the next virus engine to exclude it. But Malware Bytes is still blocking me from opening the file, also stating it is a Trojan, when I try and open it; even though a full computer scan doesn't detect the file as corrupted.

I compressed it into a zip file, so no one can click and accidentally get infected, just in case they got it wrong. The password is.

And submitted it here. Check it out.

Testing those 2 main virus submission pages it shows that half detect it as a Trojan via heuristics and the other half don't.
