Potentially malicious website

Recommended Posts

When I login to UK retailer Marks and Spencer, I receive a popup that says MBAM has successfully blocked a potentially malicious website. I looked up the IP address and it belongs to RichRelevance, which is engaged in e-commerce for a number of large retailers like Marks and Spencer. Why does MBAM rate it as malicious?

Apart from this warning the Marks and Spencer site loads up OK.

Hello jamjar:

An ad, gif, jpeg etc, might be part of the webpage whose origins are malicious or share an IP address with a malicious site.

Please report to the "False Positives" subforum but please remember to include the exact IP address.

HTH :)
