Within the past week, I've noticed 2 processes that start up each time I boot my computer. I'm wondering if they are malicious, and if so, how I should go about removing them.

The names of the processes are:

1) api-ms-win-core-misc-l1-1-032.exe

2) iassam32.exe

The descriptions for both are "Codesnip Database Viewer". I did not install any type of program that should need that kind of process, so I'm guessing that it's spyware or something. There is a file in my ProgramData folder called api-ms-win-core-misc-l1-1-032.exe, and each time I delete it, it reappears the next time I boot up my computer.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
