MBAM blocked safe sites, uninstalled and still can't access sites it blocked.

Recommended Posts

As the title says, MBAM blocked "potentially malicious sites" that were not malicious in any way (I even own and run one of them!), and now, even after uninstalling it, I still cannot access any of them from this computer. I checked to see if MBAM added anything to the hosts file, but no, it hasn't.

Any ideas why I still cannot access those particular websites?

You may need to clear your DNS cache and/or browser cache to be able to visit the sites after they've been added to Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware's ignore list or after it has been uninstalled because Windows will often cache the initial connection attempt/route in which the connection was previously blocked.
