Trojan.Gen2 and Hijack virus

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've had a virus that whenever I open my computer which automatically starts my interent, I am inudated with at least 30+ trojans at once. My AV will quarantine them after a bit but then my LAN settings are changed so that I can't access the internet and then it removes my AV and tries to disable my firewall. I delete the same exact registry error everyday if not more. It keeps coming back.

Please note for my Gmer log - I had to run it twice because the first one seemed to get stuck. The second one however had less information than the first. Not quite sure why.

hi :welcome:

Before we begin, I would like to make a few things clear so that we can fix your problem as efficiently as possible:

  • Be sure to follow all my instructions carefully! If there is anything you don''t understand, don't hesitate to ask.
  • Please do not do anything or perform other steps unless I have asked you to do so.
  • Please make sure you post all logs I ask you to, and make sure that the entire log gets posted.

Step 1

Download aswMBR.exe ( 1.8mb ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it

Click the "Scan" button to start scan

aswMBR2-1.gif

On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply

aswMBR2.png

Step 2

Download OTL to your Desktop

  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • Select All Users
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in
    netsvcs
    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.exe
    /md5start
    explorer.exe
    winlogon.exe
    Userinit.exe
    svchost.exe
    /md5stop
    %systemroot%\*. /mp /s
    hklm\software\clients\startmenuinternet|command /rs
    hklm\software\clients\startmenuinternet|command /64 /rs
    CREATERESTOREPOINT

  • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Post both logs

Things I would like to see in your reply:

  • aswMBR log
  • OTL.txt and Extras.txt

Thank you for your response. Sorry, but I've recieved help elsewhere and currently am working with them in hopes in fixing my problem (which doesn't seem to working at all). If they are unable to fix the problem, I will come back.

I'm regretting not waiting to hear from this forum since I've heard such good things. Now I'm swimming in trojans attacks and trying to figure out the problem.

Is it possible to keep this open for another day or do I need to repost if I need help?
