So. Is this a malicious IP to be blocked? Or it's a false positive one ? .

Malwarebytes blocked the IP when I clicked the BUY NOW button from daemoon tools lite. And still now when I click it, it blocks it. Do ya think its a malware?

14:04:24 joshua IP-BLOCK 78.129.142.67 - Please see the link left here, this is not Avast Internet site -

Quoted from MysteryFCM (A Staff Member)

This is blocked because it resides on a RapidSwitch range (an ISP notorious for

ignoring criminal activities). Ref;

http://hphosts.blogspot.com/2009/12/crimew...switch-ltd.html

They've only recently started working with me to get the malicious content removed, and

once that's done satisfactorily, the block will be removed.

As an aside, the specific range in question, has been well known for fraudulent activity for at least 2-3 years now.

Ohh so that means. Daemon Tools website is not safe? that's why MBAM is blocking it.?

Hope My comp doesn't get any malware now

No. It means the website is hosted on an IP address that belongs to an ISP that's known for ignoring criminal activities. The website is probably safe as any other. It's the other websites that are hosted on the same ISP that are malicious, and the whole IP range is therefore blocked. No need to panic.

Oh ok thanks. Could I ask another question pls? . I have MBAM PRO But everytime I boot my computer, it wouldn't start fast. it would take up to 4 - 5 mins for MBAM to start, but the past few days. After I boot only about 30 secs and MBAM is running then. SORRY FOR POOR ENGLISH.

If you're having any kind of problems with MBAM, try reinstalling it first.

  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here
on your computer to fully uninstall Malwarebytes
  • It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so — very important
  • On the computer you want to install it on, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
    • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version
    • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQs here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.
