Hidden files in C:\RECYCLER and Safe Mode issues.

Earlier this morning after booting up my PC my Comodo Firewall had 1 file pending named Dc1.exe. I googled it and found out that it could possibly be related to various types of malware so I started to scan with various things and be a bit cautious.

Its location was C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-2593349298-1339391512-150626835-1009\Dc1.exe

So I go to the folder (I have hidden files and system files showing) yet it seems empty but when I right click the folder it says it contains 2 files that I can't seem to get to show up. I tried clearing my Recycle Bin with ATF Cleaner with no luck either. From looking it up I found out that I may be able to get it to show up by booting into Safe Mode. When going into Safe Mode (via f8 at start-up) it shows a list of various .sys files (multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mup.sys for example) and just hangs there on the screen; I went to watch TV for 15 minutes and still no luck at all.

I've seen other similar files pop up there (Dc102.exe) in the past but never thought anything of it due to lack of info from google and I could never locate them (had the same issue as they were supposed to be in the RECYCLER folder but didn't show up).

I did another MBAM scan several hours earlier and it picked up the same thing and claimed to have deleted it. I'm thinking it may be a FP caused by Spybot blocking any changes to my IE homepage (I only use IE for Windows Update anyways) as it came back.

Just finished another scan (literally 30 seconds before hitting the post button) which found nothing.

Been bored and snooping around and tried typing it in manually to upload to virus total and here's what happened...

I accidently tried uploading an old Hijackthis log I had deleted and noticed this:

I take it the 1st screenshot means I've got some nasty malware :/ Not sure at all about the 2nd.

Well I feel dumb now, turns out you can put the name of a file that doesn't even exist in your COMODO blocked files and that's what was causing the blocking when trying to upload it to virustotal. Also had no idea until today that files have their names changed to DcX.??? when they go to the recycle bin. Seems like what the dc1.exe could've been was just a deleted setup file from when I installed iTunes the other day (which was already deleted).

I also was able to load into Safe Mode this morning, no idea why it wasn't working before. Went into the Recycler folder there and still couldn't see either file but after looking it up a bit more it sounds like it could just be a hidden .inf file you aren't meant to see along with another system file. I get too paranoid about these kinds of things, it seems like I might not have anything wrong at all.

Spybot blocked mbam's request to make changes to your policy settings. You can always have MBAM ignore that, so it doesn't alert on it in the future.
