Network cable unplugged after i run xpnetdiag

does anyone know how come my computer cant detect the lan cable even though its there? it was running ok before then suddenly out of the blue it would just drop the lan connection. at first i was able to bring it back online then after i run the xpnetdiag.exe it just said that network cable unplugged even though its connected. i cant seem to make it work.

Since you haven't told what you have already tried to fix it, first off a simple question: Did you try to reboot the machine with the lan cable plugged in?
