Why does DrWebCureit take so long?

hey, this isnt a request or anything but i have used this twice already, i hate using this, i mean its greate and all but why does it take SO LONG. Is it my pc.

For me a short express scan takes about 2 hours i think, and the full complete scan takes 6 hours! Is that normal or is my pc really that bad. I mean i know my pc is absolutely rubbish, but how long does DR WEb cureit take for you?

This is just a kind of poll thread, just something ive wondered. Ive finished using dr web cureit i think, dont really want to use it again

I've used it in the past, but not in quite some time, however, as I recall, it did always take a really long time to run. I don't know why, so that's likely a question for its developers, but from my own experience, your results are pretty typical.
