Script stealing Yahoo Email cookies

Recommended Posts

I believe there is a PHP script that is capturing your Yahoo email login.

It happens when you are logged in and you got to a site with the script.

Then they hack in and send a bunch of spam to everyone in your address book. It happened to my grandson.

Suppose you have some sensitive emails in your account with bank logins for example?

This cookie is deleted when you log out.

I also beleive that Yahoo could encode the cookie somehow but they have done nothing.

This is not a virus per se but can Malwarebytes block a site from grabbing the cookie?

This cookie stealing cold work for other webmail hosts or any site you log into.
