Flash Scan Still Exists

I previously had a flash scan scheduled (silent) that would run after I received successful scheduled update.

I deleted this scan several days ago because even though I had checked "Silent", it brought up the GUI when running.

currently I have a daily quick, and monthly full scan scheduled.

Why is the quick scan still running, and with the GUI showing ?

Please do the following:

  • Open Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and click on Settings and click on the Scheduler Settings tab
  • Click on your scheduled update and click the Edit button
  • Uncheck Run flash scan after successful update. and click Save

Also note that you cannot change the settings for the Flash Scan that is set to run after successful updates such as making it silent etc.
