when i was working in a computer shop guys brought his work computer in not sure what he did for a living but it was to the point that the computer couldnt be formatted because he had customers stuff on there that couldnt be lost anyway in short the computer would get to the login screen you would type the password in and itw ould just hang explorer.exe and everything else wouldnt run after a few hours of fiddling was finally able to get task manager to run and run a new process from there with a usb stick in short got smitfraud to run and that pulled a few 1000 infections out and after that explorer.exe would run and so would the computer at least it logged in so we ran mbam and it detected a further 8000+ infections we spent a week digging thru this machine and im pretty sure my boss pulled more out of the computer during hte process of cleaning this machine

A little punctuation and an occasional carriage return (also known as a blank line space) go a looooooooooong way towards legibility, especially for us old geezers. :)

I thought I started this in the correct thread o well. 9,000 infections now thats crazy, lol. Guess this customers system was as jacked up as I thought it was compairing it to others.

And yea I noticed alot of it was from scan logs from rogues. Whats really funny is looking back at the date and time, this system has been infected since 2004 lol
