I installed Malwarebytes antirogue software to get rid of Antivirus360.

When I do a scan, it comes up with 3 items to be removed. (I am sorry, I don't remember them right now--see below)

When I click on the button to remove them, the program freezes.

Any suggestions? Should I try shutting something off before attempting to remove?

Once the items are listed, can I remove them manually?

(Unfortunately, I am not at that computer now, so I might not have the additional information you need--but if you need more information, I will get it to you when I get home).

Thank you for your help.

Greetings and welcome to the forum.

To get you fixed up please read the instructions here, no worries if some of the scans won't run or complete, just do the ones you can:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2936

and post your logs in a new topic here:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showforum=7

Please be sure not to install any software or use any removal/scanning tools exept those that you are

instructed to by the expert who will be assisting you as doing so can make their job much more difficult.

I hope I was helpful. Good luck and safe surfing.

Thanks. Things are already starting to run better.

I scanned it through spybot search&destroy and removed/corrected everything. This seemd to get rid of the programs that Rogue Detector was unable to eliminate.

I also scanned and removed problem items with MBAM. I think I ended up with two logs. One before I removed and another after I rescanned. Here is the "before" log from MBAM:

I tried to use the PandaActive Scan program, but I was unable to because it said it was unable to update.

I ran Hijack this. Here is the log:
