Hello.

Nothing can be done with incoming threats. These threats are from infected systems or zombie systems all over the world. Malwarebytes is blocking the attack, much like a firewall would do. These kinds of attacks are ongoing 24\7 and will never abate. Your system is not likely infected. Had they been outgoing attempts, then perhaps.

Hi vivislatter

I was curious if your AV software is picking up on the IP address you mentioned? My McAfee AV is continually blocking attempts by this address to access any of my computer's ports, as well as, another one - 221.192.199.49. 1PW's comment is right on the money! Back when McAfee still provided the geographical trace function, I discovered these two IP addresses are as 1PW says...located in China.

Hi again 1PW!

Since I installed the MBAM Pro a few hours ago, the very IP addresses mentioned in an earlier post have been blocked by MBAM. The odd thing though, is when the dialog box opens above my Taskbar, it indicates the TYPE as "Outgoing." I'm not sure what to make of that. When I've seen these IP addresses in my McAfee logs, it shows up in the Inbound Events log, not outbound. Any thoughts on this one?

If these are showing as outbound on your computer with Malwarebytes, you need to make sure you are not using P2P programs such as Bittorrent, Utorrent, Skype for example. If you are stop that program and see if the pops ups stop. If they do not, the perhaps you may want to follow my instructions in post #3 above to make sure you don't have an infection going on.
