Hello there,

I have been using Malwarebytes for some time now without any problems. Last week I bought a new laptop and cloned the old hard drive to the new one so that I can make transition easier. After the cloning was finished, I ran Malwarebytes on the new system. It identified some adware which I asked to be deleted. After deletion Malwarebytes requested a restart to complete the operation. At restart I get a BSOD with error 0x0000007e. Safe Mode results in the same BSOD. Fortunately I was able to recover using the last successful configuration.

I have recreated the problem at least 4 times so far. Every time Malwarebytes asks for a restart and then my computer crashes.

Any idea what the problem may be?

Many thanks for your software and your help

Dimitris
