Cannot Update - Error Message

Hello,

Cannot update. Get the following message:

An error has occurred. Please report this error code to our support

team.

PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (11001, 0, Host not found)

No such host is known.

I opened a CMD prompt and tried to ping mbamupdates.com but same results; host not

found.

The above is occurring on both my desktop and laptop systems.

If this is such a widespread issue, I sincerely recommend posting an email to all

Malwarebytes' customers with a fix.

i also got the same message and cannot get malware to work at all, the error message pops up and nothing else.

I'm getting the same error message when attempting to update.

This error code usually indicates your DNS settings being hijacked in your router.

Please try the solution in this post in FAQ.

Hi!

Having the same problem...CANNOT update...same message ...when trying to use 'Help' can't open file...Program error (11001,0,HOST NOT FOUND) This is AFTER paying for full subscription and doing new download after 'clearing' all prior downloads. Getting message that database is 8 days old, do I want to update....but it's impossible...this seems to be a MAJOR issue going on...and BTW...PLEASE make the solution explaination do-able for us 'non-techies' (ie. grandparents)! Ran the MBAMComCheck and have attached my file THANKS!!!
