Yesterday I scanned the computer with AV-(microsoft Security essentials)then did a scan using Malwarebytes Anti malware. this came up with 254 files infected.

Registry keys-136

Memory modules-2

Registry Values-12

folders infected-18

Files infected-87

I copied and pasted it to the forum but appatiently to the wrong section. I was told to full scan this computer with the AV on it and to scan with MBAM as well.

MBAM came up with 1 infected file which is-

C:\WINDOWS\System32\f3PSSSavr.scr(PUP.FunwebProducts)

This was quarintined as where the first scan results above.

I then did a full scan with the AV- MSE- which came up clean.

Do I need to do anything eg cleaning the system if so can you walk me through it please.

I have done a similiar with my laptop ages ago. as this is a friends computer used mainly by here 13yr old help if needed would be grateful.

computer has windows XP as well. Thanks

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
