MBAM blocking certain IPs

Recommended Posts

MBAM updates to the newest version afew days ago, so I now have real time protection for the first time. Ever since then it's been blocking certain IPs every time I click on a certain site.

Several gaming sites use things like superrewards, motomy, token ads etc where you can gain things such as free premium for that game. Every time I click to go towards that page MBAM blocks a potentially malicious threat.

Over the last 5 days the following IPs have been blocked (most of them on several occasions through different ports)

14:13:10 Simon IP-BLOCK 94.100.21.147 (Type: outgoing, Port: 57649, Process: avastsvc.exe)

14:57:01 Simon IP-BLOCK 212.7.194.30 (Type: outgoing, Port: 58379, Process: avastsvc.exe)

22:51:09 Simon IP-BLOCK 217.20.113.113 (Type: outgoing, Port: 64012, Process: avastsvc.exe)

18:41:21 Simon IP-BLOCK 195.242.152.250 (Type: outgoing, Port: 53543, Process: avastsvc.exe)

12:09:43 Simon IP-BLOCK 67.215.238.83 (Type: outgoing, Port: 50015, Process: avastsvc.exe)

I've scanned with MBAM, Avast and Spy-bot and none of them find anything, so decided to post here to double-check.

Should I be worried about this, and is my machine infected? If so how what should I do to get rid of the threat as the programs I've used to scan haven't detected anything.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
