Setup fails at 99% - saving uninstall info access denied

Recommended Posts

Is there a cmdline switch to log the install?

I can't install completely probably due to a rights issue on a specific key in the registry

mbam-setup.exe fails to complete - Access denied - while trying to save Uninstall information (99% complete)

Setup then ends and tries to rollback install

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 x32

User has admin rights

Anyone know the logging switch or what registry key to look at?

(A remote scan of drive was done and threats were removed. Locally ran Combofix, TDSSKiller, local scan using SEP - all clean.)

(Ran SubInACL also...)

Thanks in advance :)
