Generic host win32 problem

Recommended Posts

I have this generic host win32 problem and i have downloaded fixes and the last of which was eset online scanner and so far this morning i have not had the generic host win32 thingy pop up. fingers crossed. But while reading many posts i was alarmed to read that norton is not considered a anti virus but a virus itself. That my pc is opened now to all sorts of threats and hacks. Well i do believe that in the bowels of this machine somewhere there is a spy of sorts. because everytime i am online i get a phone call saying my computer is at risk and that would i allow them to remotely connect to my pc to help fix all problems. Firstly how do they know i have a computer and that i am having problems and are they "in hereeeeeeeeeeee"
