Anybody watching the Stanley Cup playoffs?

Gave up on watching the playoffs after my team let me down. :(

Have fun watching though :)

Been there, felt like that more than a few times. I am actually, from day one, an Oilers fan, having played up to nearly NHL level with Glen Sather, but couldn't quite make it back in the day.

I will pull for Vancouver though :P

I play twice a week on two ice hockey teams in San Jose now after 9 years. (stopped when I was 14)

I am pulling for the Bruins, a couple of people who work here are from Massachusetts so it is kind of the home team. :D

I used to play soccer a long, long time ago, but I had developed a huge hatred towards sports of any kind shortly thereafter. Now I barely get out of my room. At least I don't have weight problems.

Use to watch alot hockey games back in the day and I was a goalie for a rag tag group, had bad skaters, bad shooters and bad goalie but had tons of fun for two hours back in the earty 80s.

We also had a Wed Table Hockey night. Ah a blast from the past and good fun with beer.

I really miss playing in the old timers league, too old for that now :P

Never too old :)

My captain shattered his ankle twice a long time ago, he loved play soccer doctor said skating was good for the foot so now he plays hockey. He's sixty-five and wears a neck brace for extra protection. He's not the fastest out there but is a heads up player and can put the puck on your tape.

Good for him! I would not need a neck brace, just a new spine. Over 65 here and spinal stenosis along with the accompanying sciatica which was only slowed a bit by surgery makes it quite impossible. The internet is my "rink" now, no regrets, time is the best mellower :)
