Version 1.51 Updating problem

Recommended Posts

Hello PFGE,

Please Download OTL to your Desktop:

To Use OTL:

  • Get OTL From
HERE
Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
OTL should now start. Change the following settings
Change Drivers to All
Change Standard Registry to All
Under File Scans, change File age to 30
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt (first run only). These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please attach these 2 files in your next reply.

thank you!

Also,

Please try this:

  1. Open command prompt in administrator mode. (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt) NOTE:In Vista/7 you will need to right click and select run as administrator.
  2. while command prompt is open type:
    ipconfig /flushdns

  3. After that command type:
    ipconfig /release

  4. Finally type:
    ipconfig /renew

Thank you!

Mainard, you may want to mention that users need to put just one command in at a time, then press the Enter button before adding the next one. BTW I had the the same updating problem and this worked immediately.

Thanks!

Hello PFGE,

Please restart your system then attempt to run OTL again. With no other programs open.

Thank you very much.

I could not run OTL.

Therefore, I decided to reinstall MBAM 1.51.

It is working well.

Thank you very much for your help.
