how to scan using docking station

Hi

Sorry, I only have basic computer skills. I have 2 laptops and one has Malware, I have bought a docking station and have fitted the infected HD into it but how do I select just this drive to be scanned? Anything else you feel I should look for feel free to comment. the malware is "XP 2011 Security"

Sorry to hear you are infected. We do not normally advice people to scan the way you want to do the scan in this way, cause you will probably cause more harm to the OS by removing the infection in this manner. Should you decide to continue by doing it that way, do it at your own risk. But to answer your question, connect the docking station, once the drive is detected, open Malwarebytes and update it. Then select Full Scan and Check the Drive you want to scan. Again the preferred method is to leave the infected drive in the original laptop, and then follow the instructions below.
