Cannot log onto Windows after malwarebytes removal

I recently performed a scan using malwarebytes and it identified three items that should be removed. I was prompted to restart the computer which I did. However, I am now faced with the welcome page and my name on the screen, my computer did not say this before and would boot up automatically. When I click on my name it states 'loading your personal settings' shows the desktop (with no icons) and then goes back to the original page stating 'logging off' I do not have any recovery disks. The computer is a Sony VGC RC102 and I am running Windows XP. I hope someone can help me as there's lots of important stuff on my machine and I cannot access it.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please reboot to Safe Mode (tap the F8 key just before Windows starts to load and select the Safe Mode option from the menu).

Grab the log from MBAM and post it.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
