I got into a nasty virus this morning and need some assistance. The virus was one of those ones that says to scan your system, but I have not clicked any of its options. I went to task manager to stop it from running. Tried to run Malwarebytes in SAFE mode with no luck and have followed some step that I found in another thread using ATF Cleaner, then Goored Fix and TDSS Killer.

It looks like it has wiped my HD, but when I am able to run Malwarebytes, I can see missing programs. It is almost like I am not seeing my HD. Any suggestions? This has a ton of work info that I would like to try to recover asap.

Oh yes, if I go into my Add/Remove Programs, I can see all of my programs, but nowhere else can I.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one on one assistance when one becomes available.

Please note that it may take 48 hours or more for you to receive a response in the malware removal forum, as it is often busy at times. Please do not reply to your own post asking for help unless its been more than 48 hours since you originally posted, as this can make it appear as though you are being helped and take longer for you to get help.

If you are unable to do all or any of the steps in the link to the directions above, just post your problem into the forum I gave you a link to anyway and someone will be able to assist you.
