mhein Posted May 18, 2011 ID:430807 Share Posted May 18, 2011 Hello All,First of all, I'd like to thank you all of the Malwarebytes staff for your constant and wonderful work!I do have a request/suggestion, if I may, for the next program update....It would facilitate things greatly (in my opinion) to add a feature to the Protection\Scheduler Option a "check for updates every 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours" option.. needless to say, right now, it's either Hourly, Daily, etc.AVG's Scheduler allows a greater variety to the check for updates scheduler and I've personally found the once every 4 hours very reassuring without slowing down other Internet activities.I'm attaching a screen shot showing the AVG options. I did wonder about that, but was confused as to whether it referred to what your saying or if for some reason (computer off, etc.) it had missed a scheduled update. Mainard Posted May 23, 2011 ID:432710 Share Posted May 23, 2011 The option: Recover if missed by covers the other item you are referring to.Assume this scheduled items attributes: 10:00pm with a Recover if missed by set to 12 hours and repeating every 6 hours. If the system is turned off at 9:30pm and turned back on anytime before 10:00am (within the recover if missed by time of 12 hours) The scheduled item will be performed by MBAM as soon as the system is ready (eg. Turning the system on at 9:00am will recover the item missed as it will be within the recover time.)If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
