No internet, how do I update to get rid of virus?

I recently got a virus Remove Vista Antimalware 2011 and I tried to get rid of it myself by deleting some programs. However, I deleted what I thought was it but instead, it turns out I accidently deleted my internet explorer since when I click on the icon it says the application doesn't exist. What am I suppose to do now? I can't access the internet and I have this pesky virus on my laptop! Even if I had internet, the virus would not allow me to log onto the internet anyways. Right now I'm using a friend's laptop to fix this problem. Help please!
