windows recovery virus removed...but still having issues

i have removed the windows vista recovery virus from the PC using mbam. however, i am still having issues. some folders are still hidden, mainly folders in the start menu. for example, i see the folder for the program, lets say Google Earth, but when i click on the Google Earth folder, i see 'empty.' not all the folders, but roughly 50% of them.

i have done some googling and ran a program called unhide.exe, but that didnt bring everything back.

i also looked at the guide on this forum, but that doesnt have specific instructions to get those files/folders to show up again.

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please download Unhide.exe by Grinler and save it to your Desktop.

Run it, then restart your computer.

Next, please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
