Running MBAM and NIS 2011 Safely together ?

hello everyone - looking for some feedback about weather or not it is okay to run both MBAM and NIS2011 (Norton Internet Security 2011) in real-time together without conflict?

i'm not referring to scans at the same time but rather simply having them both on in real-time.
