antivirus software with malwarebytes

i want to purchase malwarebytes antimalware PRO, but i was curious if it will replace my current antivirus software (microsoft security essentials) or if it can run in real-time alongside it...do i uninstall MSSE in order to run MBAM Pro?

i tried searching the forums but couldn't find this direct question asked
