Last night, I had a bunch of errors pop up on my desktop computer, and then all of my desktop icons disappeared. I ran MBAM, and it found a bunch of junk, which I deleted. I restarted, and ran it again. It found nothing new. However, my desktop is still blank. Some of my other folders were blanked as well (Documents, Downloads, etc). I discovered that this was because all of the files had been hidden. I un-hid them, and now I can see most of my stuff. However, I still can't get my desktop icons to show.

Any ideas what to do next?

Download unhide.exe & save it to your windows folder:

Right click on unhide.exe and select Run as administrator (In case you have Vista or Win7)

Reboot

This will unhide folders/files that were set to be hidden by the infection you had.

Let me know if that solved your problem.

Worked perfectly. Thanks.
