internet search results redirected

hi. i recently picked up some bad malware and can't figure out how to get rid of it. everytime i do a google or yahoo search, the results redirect me to advertisments and random search engines. i've run malware bytes numerous times, spybot S & D, mcafee (my anti-virus subscription), and ad-aware. spybot S & D, ad-aware, and malware bytes have found malicious software on many scans, but after removing them the problem persists. please help!
